We are a smoothie making family, so this had to be a great machine.This thing does it all!! Slices, dices, shreds, mixes doughs and makes cocktails. Oh yeah- and makes our smoothies really quick, easy, and clean up was a breeze. Used the single serving smoothie cup this morning-changed the lid and voila it becomes a to go cup. No mess at all!! Plus it has 2 of these cups, so no need to rush to wash. Just put in dishwasher. Having more people? Use the blender to make the smoothie. I'm in love. :) Tonight I made brownies using the food processor part of it and it came out great. I love that there aren't a lot of buttons. It's just a one touch pulse that you can hold down as long as necessary. It is very easy to use and clean. I feel like I've gotten a great deal for the money. Can't say enough good things about it. I really have no reason to use this as a food processor, slicer, or mixer, but the blender is phenomenal! It is different than any blender that I have ever owned in that there are several blades down the center, so the ice doesn't have to cycle down to the bottome. Within a few seconds, a blender full of ice is literally like snow! Both size blenders have a pout spout and are plastic (so they can be dropped). The two individual size cups are great for making protien shakes after a workout! I have only had it for about two weeks, so can not speak to whether it will stand the test of time. If I had one complainant (and really I don't), it would be that the motor is VERY loud, but it chops/blends so quickly, it is well worth it! I would highly recommend this product.! |
