This is by far the best wand I've owned. The blending canister is deep and fairly wide so there's very little spatter. I have not tried the chopping attachment, yet, but the blade and bowl are reasonably sized. And the wand! It has speed settings from low to high, a nice, long, detachable stem for reaching the bottom of a pot, and no edges to scratch surfaces. The trigger is easy to use and comfortable on the hand. I am very glad I read all reviews on similar products and chose this particular immersion wand.

I couldn't be happier - an extra $30 bought a highly superior model with two blending containers, solid constuction, super easy to use, with two blending speeds. Performs MUCH better than the Braun.
Note to self: you cannot run ANY of these stick blenders continuously longer than 1 minute. Give 'em a rest.

This replaces my disappointing, broken, seldom used Cuisinart mini chopper and almost-run-into-the-ground Magic Bullet. I use this blender almost every day for a smoothie or milkshake style protein shake. I did try chopping some sweet peppers in it. Next time I won't put it on 'high' for that. I have NO complaints at all with this product. I hope you get one, too, and enjoy it!
