For guarantee, warranty purposes, or product questions, I felt more assurred to order from them. Their price wasn't that much different from other sources anyway. My niece and my daughter preceeded me in the purchase of this blender. (We all had watched the FAT, SICK, AND NEARLY DEAD documentary as seen on Netflix.) Now that I have one, I can say with the rest of my family, we are undeniably happy with this great machine. It has not failed to blend anything we've put into it, liquifying almost everything except an occasional frozen banana which apparently goes undercover in the mix. There is a counter on the machine, which lets you know how many times you have used the machine. Mine is at 519, as I write this review. Each time you push a button it ticks upwards, so in reality I have probably used mine 250 separate times or so. While using the blender last week, the seal started smoking, and no longer works. When I wrote to customer service, I was told that it was no longer covered under warranty, but I could buy a new jar for $100. It was great while it lasted, but having to spend $100 every three years makes this very expensive blender even more so. It seems very durable not really stylish but simple. There is nothing cheap about it meaning its worth the buck. |
